I think our house was built on an ant hill! We have ants any time of the year and more often than not. My go to supermarket brand of ant killer häs been discontinued. The other brand wasn’t working. So I tried borax from a hardware store but no joy on killing the nest. I realized the borax I had purchased had a filler in it, so I bought blants Pure Borax and finally I no longer häve stray ants running across my kitchen bench. This borax is very good so versatile. Using as an added booster to homemade laundry and cleaning soap. A small amount is added to body cream which helps to emulsify and is antibacterial. Also for ant control Borax is slowly but surely killing off the large ant colonies of carpenter ants we have.
